1) Can I get my Alto K10 S-CNG tuned from outside?
- Getting your CNG kit tuned from the outside is something that is not advisable at all. Since Alto K10 S-CNG comes equipped with a factory-fitted CNG kit, it is recommended to get it tuned at an authorised Maruti Suzuki workshop which has trained professionals and the right equipment for proper calibration of the CNG setup in the car.
2) What should I do if the CNG malfunction warning light in my Alto S-CNG keeps glowing when I am driving?
- There can be multiple reasons why this warning light started glowing. It is recommended that you take your car to the nearest Maruti Suzuki authorized service centre and get it checked.
3) What are the different modes for driving the new Alto S-CNG?
- There are three fuel modes in the New Alto S-CNG, namely: -
Petrol Mode – In this mode, the car starts and drives on petrol.
Auto Mode - In this mode, the car starts on petrol and then automatically switches over to CNG (This is also the mode that is recommended by the company).
Forced CNG Mode – in this mode, the car starts on CNG. This mode is advised only when there is no petrol in the car.
4) What is the Mileage of the Alto K10 S-CNG?
- Alto K10 S-CNG delivers a class-leading fuel efficiency of 33.85* km/kg.
